I deinstalled the old VMWare and installed the latest one and after trying to start it I run into almost the same problems. Linux wintermute 5.2.0-kali2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.2.9-2kali1 () x86_64 cat /etc/issueĪnd then VMWare Workstation failed to start because it could not get the modules compiled for that latest kernel so I downloaded the latest v15 version of VMWare for Linux. I just upgraded to the latest kernel on Kali Linux 圆4 which is basicially Debian uname -a
